I had a great massage and the price was good

I had several treatments done today at Avalon Mist with Kathleen. It was incredibly easy to find the very large building in which the spa is located (even without using GPS), since the address that reads: “370 Main Street” is printed clear, large and ledgibly on the front of the building for all by passers to see and locate easily. Once walking inside the building, the company’s name, floor and unit # is printed clearly on the wall directory, which also made it easy to locate the unit.

Upon entry, the waiting room was tidy, calming and tranquil, with a welcoming “home away from home” type atmosphere (which is exactly how I want to feel when I go for a massage). The waiting room was very comfortable and Kathleen was so sweet and easy to talk to, which made me feel relaxed throughout my whole visit, and especially after a long work week.

The massage room was set up beautifully with dim lighting and relaxing music, with the beauftiful aroma of essential oils in the air. Based on the amazing and relaxing massages and facial she gave me today, it was clear that she has been doing this for a long time, with no rushing or speeding through each treatment, (like some of the other spas I’ve been to in the past). She applies the perfect amount of pressure and kneeds out tension areas with ease and experience, which is a technique that few can successfully accomplish for clients at other spas.

Lastly (and to top it off), her pricing is AMAZING. I have been to many other spas and paid triple the price in the past, and have not had such a relaxing experience and received such a positive outcome from something as simple as a massage and facial. She was professional and showed that she truly does care about her clientele and satisfying their needs. Not only was the price great, but the services were some of the best I’ve had. Because of this, I plan to return regularly and urge other ladies looking for a new spa at an amazing price, to try Avalon Mist for their next massage and treatments. Truly a hidden gem in the heart of downtown Hamilton!

I have been having spa treatments, especially massage for years with Kathleen…She is nothing but PROFESSIONAL !! Some people dont know what an A1 massage is, and go for the cheap deals and whine purposely to get it for free. Some are low lifes in this sad world.
Her massages at full price as still lower than most charge who have to pay for their lavish, splashy decor.
Most people know are honorable in their comments, but then, we have the others !!

It would appear that “Beyonce Knowles” likes to provide falsities since she cannot even provide her real name. And I am pretty positive that she is not married to Jay Z. Your negative review was done maliciously and need I remind you that you can be held accountable for slandering and defaming someones name and reputation. The Owner of Avalon Mist Wellness Center/ Spa happens to be quite professional in her field. I am a client as well and have had massages from her and she was conscientious in how she dealt with me as a client. She also asked me numerous times if I was doing ok and if I was comfortable. To add I was always covered and she provided me privacy when I was getting ready for the massage as well as when she asked me to roll over on to my back. For someone like “Beyonce Knowles” to slander and defame an individual because of being cheap is beyond disgusting. I have used Groupon and I know how it works. You have to pay the taxes and to try to evade paying it says alot about your character. To put it nicely as I can. You have zero class for being angered to the point about having to pay the taxes to someone who is trying to run a business with professionalism and ethics. Perhaps your next song should be “I am too cheap to be nice”. All in all my over all review is five star as that is what this business deserves regardless of where the location is. Every business has to start somewhere. So unless you own a business and has worked hard to build it you may want to consider not acting like such a nasty piece of work Diva. Peace out. P.S.
