My boyfriend and I lived here for just over a year, and would have stayed longer if not for a work-related move.
We love our home at Brentlawn. Our apartment was newly (and beautifully) renovated before we moved in. The floor to ceiling windows made for some pretty incredible sunset views and kept the place bright in every season.
Joe and Konnie were wonderful property managers – the very few issues that came up were handled quickly. And as a bonus: they are both just so lovely!
Our neighbours were incredibly friendly and everyone in the building was very respectful of each other’s space during the pandemic.
The apartment buildings themselves are between Holdom and Brentwood skytrain stations, making for an easy and pleasant morning commute. Only a few minutes by bike to Burnaby Lake and nestled among several community parks, we spent a lot of time enjoying the green spaces nearby.
Overall, we loved our time at Brentlawn and are quite sad that it was cut short!

When we moved to Canada I didn’t need to see other apartment. It was perfect, beautiful views metrotown and Brentwood, well keep building. Joe and Connie are the best manager,They are so helpful. Family neighborhood. Nice park and friendly neighbors.

Joe and Konnie make it pleasure to live here. We were here for a number of years and were always impressed by how well maintained and orderly the place was. We were kept well informed even through the craziness of covid. Repairs were always quickly handled. Highly recommend.

I’ve lived here for almost 8 years, and I can’t possibly overstate what a well-managed, friendly, and comfortable renting experience this has been. The building itself dates back to the 70s, but it is incredibly well-kept, with constant improvements being made to both the towers. The building managers, Joe and Konnie, are friendly and respectful, and very responsive. For example, if whenever we had a plumbing issue, often a plumber would arrive to fix it the very same day. The neighbourhood is also friendly and close-knit — there’s a park behind the building, and a convenience store and coffee shop next-door. I’ve lived all over Vancouver, and I can honestly say you won’t find a better renting experience than here.

Tried to come in to view an apartment…. Management refused to allow me to view the apartment due to my status as a student… I tried to explain how my boyfriend works full-time but does not reside in Vancouver (difficult for him to make time to commute here just for a viewing), but management continued to deter me from being able to view the apartment.

Isn’t this discrimination!?
I’m a student but I work full-time.
