Stopped in for a smoothie which was most refreshing. The server was very friendly and welcoming. Although the location is on a main road it just across the street from the canal and has a cute little patio to enjoy the boats and park. It is also very close to the paved bicycle trail so a bonus for cyclitsts.

The day started off just right as usual but I am paying attention to detail this time around. My horoscope suggested I’d try to paint, therefore, obviously, challenge accepted. However, I’ve never actually painted something to completion in my life so, before I started my quest, I needed some energy, food!

I was walking in the rain, wanting to find the perfect place and there it was! Such a beautiful place with a stunning view over the Oasis. The woman made me this tasty smoothie in a bowl called “Le Flamand Rose” and she was very careful with the placement of the fruits and the various nuts and grains, I’m not too familiar with the terms, but regardless it was gorgeous to look at and delightful to taste.
