Nice place to go for South Indian food . Kerala porota is very nice . Biriyani was not good as expected.

We ordered ‘the lamb chukka’ dish which was supposed to be spicy with dry gravy. All we got was bones to chew. The portion was just 5 bones for 14$, wish there was a quality control on the portion that is being delivered for online orders. Posting the picture of what we received. I was a returning customer after a good in-house experience but now I am truly disappointed.

My brother had dined at this place a number of times and raved about their food. Well, a few days ago, I was in Surrey and decided to try it out.

The server was friendly and explained the menu patiently. We chose our meals and waited eagerly to be delighted!

The Vadas were freshly fried, crispy on the outside and steaming hot. Accompanying chutneys were excellent and tasty.

Our meal was Kerala Fried Fish, Kerala Prawn Curry, Rasam, Beef Ularthiyathu, Kerala Paratha (some dishes come with rice).

Each item was authentic, flavourful and freshly made. This was by far one of the best dining experiences I have had, of Indian food, in a very long time. I have a hard time dining at ethnic restaurants that all taste the same “McDonald-ized”

The owner/chef has got it right, portion size is just enough and priced economically. Many restaurants price higher but you get a bucket of curry or rice and EXACTLY the same amount of protein! Suggest you have an appy, main or 2, Kerala Paratha is a definite.

We left with extra take out orders for my son, brother and for ourselves; in addition to what we couldn’t finish!

Had the Chicken Biryani I had brought home – great Kerala taste, which is different from other Biryani’s – trust me I have made many types of biryani. This has flavours of Fennel Seeds, Pepper, Curry Leaves. Very different and flavourful..

So, for all the times I’ve been asked, “You’re from India, which restaurant do you recommend” …you have my answer!

The best place for fresh and yummy food. Always have a great flavour. They serve with so much warmth. To go place for us when we crave for the authentic taste. Anyone checking this review must try from there 🤞 keep it up guys

Good food. We ordered dosa and must admit was surprised, pleasantly if I may add with the size of the dosa. In fact a smaller size would have been just fine as well. But what’s important is the fermentation and the dosa had the right amount of sourness, nothing too overpowering to tell it was fermented just right. The fillings were tasty somewhat unconventional and I am ok with unconventional as long as they taste good, which was the case. I’d definitely come back and try the other dishes. A good find overall
