Being from Varennes, I did business with this agency to organize a trip with my 10 year old boy. I can only suggest not to do business with these people and here are the reasons.

As much for the place that was recommended to me that turned out to be unpleasant because of the food and the employees than for all my dealings with the agency which all turned in the vinegar. What mistakes!

The first comes from staff turnover since I had to talk with 4 different people from this agency to plan this trip.

The second comes from the fact that following the many unexplained deaths in Punta Cana I had asked to change destination for Mexico, having been there in January, but I was then misinformed about the additional costs of the exchange insurance. trip (how’s that $ 200 extra?) and that the counselor who was supposed to do it filtered my calls. I had to ask the superior to take care of it. It was Katia Poirier, who contacted me but did not manage either to explain to me these expenses and instead of making the effort chose to buy the peace by offering me a discount of 50 $. I would have preferred to understand. I had to talk to a third person from the agency to understand that I was not overcharged.

Third mistake, quite serious, a few days before the departure the owner of the agency informs me by email that my flight has changed time. Except that if I had followed his recommendation I would have missed my flight since it referred to another flight than mine which left later the same day. When I pointed out to her she did not even apologize but flatly acknowledged that I was right.

Fourthly the recommended place, Sandos Caracol in Riviera Maya for the following reasons: food not good to see downright bad, staff very often unfriendly, unclean site and pools. See photos. In discussions with people on the site I realized that my point of view was the opinion of many people at the Resort and searching on TripAdvisor I saw that the problem was not dated yesterday. In addition, the nauseating beach is impassable because of algae. The agency warned me that the beach was not nice because of the rocks in the sand. But that’s another story, it could, it’s saturated with seaweed and nobody uses it. The employees have apostrophés militarily my boy at the closing, at 17h, water games: get out! What does daddy get out?

For the seaweed I had planned the shot before the departure and the agency had recommended me Sandos Playacar of the same chain, which was one of their rare good shot.

So I went there and ouf the beach was beautiful. But also the food much better and the employees helpful and smiling. I had to pay the taxi to get there but access to the 2nd site was free of charge.

I pointed out to the concierge of Sandos Caracol that I had not seen any staff, nor any machinery, clean the beach unlike the site Sandos Playacar. Yet I have been to the beach of Sandos Caracol three times. They denied.

So I communicated the whole situation by email to the agency asking him if they could make a transfer of stay at Sandos Playacar, being ready to assume a supplement.

The response was a long email diatribe that I was not grateful for their efforts and that I could do everything myself and not write to them anymore. In an environment where customer service is a must I do not understand how this agency can afford this luxury. I am from Varennes and more. Okay!

So if you are comfortable with an agency that makes you feel like a difficult person when it organizes a trip that does not match what it promises you do business with them. Otherwise as recommended by them do it all alone!
