Dealer has been harsh, wanted to charge me 150$ to check an error code. Didn’t honor warranty even though the car was 1K KM over warranty.

Would never buy there again – they don’t know how to treat a customer.

Positive experience dealing with their service dept. On a roadtrip and needed to top up engine fluids. Service department was professional and quick.

This dealership has to be one of the worst dealerships I’ve ever deal with. A couple months ago I put in a request for someone to contact me regarding an M2 competition. Someone contacted me, and just stopped replying. Fast forward a couple months I put in another request, and another gentlemen by the name of William contacted me. At first he was great, and then he started to try and take advantage of me because I was looking for specific specs on a vehicle. He told me the car I was looking for 999 plus tax and when I told him I wanted in a specific spec he went right to 1200$/month. Furthermore, he told me he would take my car as a trade in for 32,000, which I believe was a lie because he is unable to honour that trade in value after I told him I wanted to ahead with the vehicle. He quote on quote said “the wholesalers offer expired”. Did my car lose value over a time of 14 days from the offer of 32k to when it “expired”. I’m not sure I understand. He is a very nice gentlemen but I think he is feeding me false information and also he has no knowledge of any vehicle whatsoever. He was not very helpful in completing a deal, claiming his bosses don’t want to negotiate past a certain amount. Furthermore, he also claimed the specific vehicle I wanted is “unavailable”. But online it says the car is still available at the other BMW. Clearly a lie. At the end of the day he is a great guy to deal with but only go to this dealership if you’re willing to be scammed and lied to about the prices that they offer.

Edit : Messaged Nanimo BMW in BC and car was indeed available. Liars and Scammers, stay as far away as possible.

Coming from Montreal, it was worth it to buy the car in Quebec City. I had a great experience with William and will definitely recommend him to everyone. I do have some advice to give:
– He asked me 4 times in a span of a week what type of wheels my trade-in BMW had. I get that it’s busy since this is during Covid-19, and you are short staffed. However, the answer didn’t change each time; might be best to write it down the first time
– I suggest to look at the vehicle the client is buying before they arrive to make sure it’s ready to go. My 3 series was missing the car mats, the winter tires that were included in the sale, and the tow eye cap at the front. They made sure I left with everything I was missing (except for the tires. However, as an exception, they shipped them the next day to my home making sure I got what was promised in the deal).
This still does not change the 5-star review they deserve. It was easy communicating with William either by phone, text or email (including over the weekend). I got taken seriously as a client too (being a woman…). And although people will complain saying visiting a dealer in Quebec City is far from Montreal, I got to drive my X5 for the last time and leave with my 3 series and get to really test it out, and it was worth it! We definitely plan on doing business with BMW Ville de Québec again.
