Really nice open space with a family-youth oriented skating rink, comfortable good court with ample space to either enjoy a light meal or work on that report or homework.

Well connected to the Metro and underground city including to the Longueuil/South Shore transport system.

In a few words a good combination of inner open spaces really comfortable during the winter and a great place to skate during the summer. An iconic place that represents a Cosmopolitan city like Montreal.

Very clean and easily accessible to public transport.

Wanna break the ice on a first date? -Atrium Le 1000 is exactly what you need! An indoor skating rink open year round downtown Montreal, that’s just great!

But wait, you don’t have skates and neither does your date? -Don’t worry, they’ll be more than happy to lend you some!
Also, if you play it cool, look young enough, they’ll even assume you’re a student without asking for an ID; how cool is that? For real, don’t forget to be nice with staff, they’re really sweet!

As for the $, I paid around 20$ for a pair of skates, a locker and a “student” fare. If you had your own skates, it’d be much cheaper though.

Don’t tell anyone, but I did this a few times for first dates, and I was always successful. Besides, is there something more romantic than two people holding hands while skating?

Hate this place. Security are a bunch of bullies and they publicly admit they do not want homeless people in their building at all.

Nice indoor skating rink. There is a railing around the whole perimeter, which is great for first timers.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located in the centre of a food court . Great selection of rentals – both hockey and figure skates . Prices are a little steep though, which is why I give it 3 stars. Would be nice to have discounts for families .
