One of my favourite restaurants in town, they have the best fries and some amazing burgers. They have a rotating tap of beer and always have a great selection!

There are very few places I’ve ever walked into and immediately felt as at home as Kitchen 540. The staff werw fun and friendly, and the food was incredible! Locally sourced food, lots of local beers and some really creative cocktails. I’ll be back.

Food tasted fine but I would not be back. Terrible atmosphere. I walked in the door and was greeted with the distinct smell of sweaty old men, however there was no old men in sight. The gross smell hardly faded the whole time I was there. The lights were way too dim, dim enough that I left with a headache. Not to mention that the light above me flickered. The dining area was very cramped–I felt like I was going to bump into the table behind me.

Very sparse menu selection. My dish was EXTREMELY small. I admit it was delicious, but it was much too small for the price paid. My partner’s fries were cold when they arrived but we had already waited so long for our food that we didn’t bother sending them back. Would not recommend.

This place has excellent food presentation and delicious recipes, from cocktails to mains I am consistently amazed at how great the food is.
The service is fantastic too! Staff are knowledgeable when you have a question and are attentive to your drinks.

Lunch menu has a good variety. Fried Chicken Friday lunch special is a favourite. The Orange Chicken burger (Oct 30 2020 special) is the current personal favorite they have done. Staff are wonderfully friendly and very accommodating. It is a comfortable dining environment is great for catching up with friends or family. Highly recommended.
