Overpriced vehicle, arrogant seller with a condescending attitude. The only reason they sell used cars in the area is only because of the lack of competition

I wanted to buy a truck, he told me that the mechanics were good but the body was not perfect but the aesthetics did not bother too much. So I give a deposit so that he doesn’t sell it and I go to see and try the truck but the mechanics were not as he told me. Power stearing pump was making noise and the oil level was good, there was a rumble in the transfer case on the 4×4. He was not aware of these problems! I am a mechanic so I speak from experience. A good honest seller would have offered to make repairs or at least inspect it in HIS garage with HIS mechanic! but not zero interest! short who would have bought a vehicle to leave the court and return to the garage? I did not buy it and he refused to give me my deposit! I lost $ 500 but at least I did not end up with a lemon and I think I am not the only one because the vehicle is still not sold after several weeks so I am not the only one to be vigilant and let’s put that I did not make him lose sales since the truck is still in the court hehe!
He offered to give me a credit on the purchase of another vehicle lol but I prefer to lose $ 500 than to be f … by him for another vehicle !!
Oh and as in the other negative comments about him (which I suggest you take into consideration), he will surely try to justify himself blah blah blah! but I have nothing to gain from making this review except to help people make a good choice. I got myself a vehicle from an honest seller in Matane!
