The most honest mechanic I’ve ever been to. Sal and his team are not only friendly, but the work was done flawlessly. Despite being busy, Sal still tries his best to listen and give his true and honest opinion to your mechanical issues. I highly recommend and will be coming back.

This place is simply the best. I have been taking my cars to this shop for years, and always recommend them to friends and family. Sal and his team are always incredibly helpful when I come in and always fix my problems quickly and cost-effectively. I am a big car guy, I am very knowledgeable and competent when it comes to car maintenance and mechanics, and I am 100% confident when I say that Sal has never tried to tell me to repair something or upsell me on services that I don’t really need. I am very particular with my cars and who I let work on them, and I would gladly let these guys work on my cars any day. Truly A+ service place.

I’ve been taking my car to 2 and 1/2 Mechanics for years now, after a coworker recommended them. I’ve used them for brake replacement, oil changes, tire changes, muffler issues, engine issues and anything in between. The service and attention to detail that Salim and his team offer is incredible, and, as woman, I never feel spoken down to or over sold (which, sadly, is rare from my experience with mechanics). A number of my coworkers also use 2 and 1/2 Mechanics now because of the great service, price and general good attitude that we’ve gotten from Salim and everyone we’ve encountered at 2 and 1/2 Mechanics.

2 1/2 Mechanics is a fantastic auto service shop. I have been a client for over 5+ years and now my dad is also one of their clients.
I love their service so much that I drive all the way from the west end to st. Laurent area to allow them to service my vehicle.
They always do a great time fixing various issues and providing regular maintenance on my vehicle.
The services that they have provided me include: brakes, alignment, tire changes, oil changes, body work…the list goes on.
In addition, they are always friendly, accommodating to my needs/ schedule and very respectful to women.

I had a flat tire on a weekend and came here as it was one of the few mechanic shops open on a Saturday. Saleem was very honest and genuine, he fixed my tire at a very reasonable cost and gave honest recommendations. I appreciate your great customer service and effectiveness in resolving my issue.
