Love this little store and the couple that runs it. They are helpful and pleasant, and have a wonderful range of products. I have become more proficient in Korean, Japanese, and Indian cooking because of their great products and useful product knowledge. Once I went in after not having been by for a few weeks, and the gentleman who owns the store said, “Oh, how was your bibimbap?” He remembered that I was in for supplies for that the last time, and that it was going to be my first time trying to make it. I was floored!
I definitely recommend Asian Market as a go-to for great Asian cooking supplies.

Hands down the best Asian grocer in Kingston. Everything you could possibly want. Local owners. Fair prices (especially considering Metro next door).

There’s a section for every style of ethnic Asian cooking, with a particularly large Filipino section which I enjoy quite a bit. There’s a whole section for rice.

It’s hard to get authentic Asian flavour in K-town, but this place does great at it.

I have been shopping at this location for years. I won’t shop anywhere else for my Asian products. The owners are extremely knowledgeable on their products, helpful and friendly. One of my favourite experiences is advice and suggestions on cooking!

Some products may be slightly more expensive than what you can get at the chain stores BUT there is of course much more variety here, products that aren’t readily available other places and the friendly, knowledgeable service outweighs any additional expense.
