I do not recommend to come here for a few reasons.
First, I came there without an appointment to estimate a small ding on the door, touched up by me, and another tiny ding on on a body side. I waited outside to 15 minutes to hear that I cannot come without an appointment. Then, they told that a person with appointed time did not come but still they denied to make an estimate. Ok, I made an appointment.
I came exactly on appointed time later, but they made me to wait another 15-20 minutes outside during +35C. It is extremely ignorantly.
The most interesting part begins when a guy did the estimate.
Small ding on the door. All you should do is to carefully polish it and in the case of need apply a little more touch up. What I heard…
He told that the door has to be painted, but it cannot be locally painted, only a whole door. In addition, another door has to be repainted because the colors would not match.
In addition he told that the whole back part of the car has to be repainted because of 0.5mm ding (with already applied touch up paint).
The car is new, you do not have to match color. Even if you have, you should know how to mix paint so the color would match…
They gave me ridiculous estimate:1000$ for two doors and 1000$ for a detail with tiny ding…. It is extremely unprofessional. I have never met such amateur car detailers before.
I fixed the problem at another detailers, they polished two small dings for 10$. They are invisible now.
Avoid them at any cost.
Waste of a valuable time, ignorant attitude and shady estimates.

Terrible experience.

I brought my car in for repairs after an accident. It took them 6 weeks to get the work done, which I could accept if it was done properly.

The “repaired” car doesn’t drive in a straight line, it pulls out of the lane when driving and braking. When the car is going straight, the steering wheel is not centered, and instead points away. When I picked up the car, 3 of the 4 tires were deflated.. it’s obvious because the dash lights up with a graphic of 3 red tires. A car can’t be aligned with deflated tires..

I managed to reach a manager about this, who never returned my calls after initial contact. After a while, someone named Chad said he was the new manager at the company. I spent months waiting on him to return follow up calls and fix the problem, but it was more of the same as the last guy; just ignore the problem. Eventually the insurance got involved, and they informed me they also had a lot of trouble reaching anyone at that company, call backs take days.

When I eventually met Chad in person for the repair, I asked him why it took six months to get any type of response, he claims he doesn’t know how to use his voicemail box. Let that sink in, the guy in charge of customer satisfaction can’t check his phone for customer messages.

They claim they had the car re-aligned, but it appears to be returned in the same state I brought it in, and the garage who Assured Automotive claims did the work has no record of the car being serviced for that period. Chad couldn’t produce a copy of the new alignment records, and it makes me wonder if any work was done at all.

Now I have to work with another garage to get the work done properly and have a safe car. Assured has been a monumental waste of time, and have been unapologetic about their lack of service.

It is very short sighted of them to treat customers so poorly, as I’m sure my family will have other claims in the future. Instead of harvesting my business for a lifetime of vehicle repairs, they throw it away instead of fixing their work.

I would avoid this company, even if your insurance recommends them, there are better options in Ottawa.

Brought my ford escape in for repairs, very helpful and friendly staff and they did a great job.

EDIT: I will leave the review as is because it was my experience at the time. This shop is under new management and they are great to work with. I have learned the manger who was responsible at the time is now at the Assured Hawksbury location BEWARE.
This shop was reccomended by my insurance after I was in an accident, DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Where to start? May car was in the shop for over 2 months and it is still unsatisfactory. The front clip has slipped from its position and the driver headlight sits way to far out. The paint job on the hood is one of the worst I’ve seen, there is dirt/particles under the paint and imperfections ….I’ve seen better paint done in an overnight rush job. My insurance covered for $11,600 worth of repairs and the job looks like it was in my own garage for under 3! To top it off they couldn’t even get the driver side marker light to work on the brand new headlight! Now on to the customer service. Awful. You have to be on top of them for any updates on your vehicle; eg, if they say they will call you back they absolutely will not. I was told week after week that my vehicle would be done by a certain day only to call the day after and find out its been pushed back another week, with ZERO intentions of notiflying me, the customer. I would rate 0/5 If possible because clearly my insurance wasted the money.

I would suggest this auto body repair shop to anyone who needs work done on their car. The team at Assured was timely, kind and incredibly professional. Their quote was also very reasonable. I got several quotes before visiting Assured, and their quote came in substantially cheaper than all of their competitors.
