Location is very central. Not as much traffic noise as I expected from being right beside McLeod. More importantly the front desk and cleaning staff are very accommodating. Would stay again.

We live in Calgary and stay at this hotel just because our kids wanted to swim in a pool and due to Covid-19 all pools are close. The web site offered an open pool but just arriving we were told the pool was close and we couldn’t cancel the reservation because was made via Expedia…so we stay but we were very disappointed.
The place wasn’t bad but this error between the hotel and Expedia was paid by us.

The staff here is beyond rude and disrespectful. They kicked me and my family out of our room for no reason at all and was rude the whole time. I would never ever come to this hotel ever again and I dont recommend anyone else to stay there

We were very pleased with our stay at Best Western Plus Calgary!! If you’re looking for a nice hotel that’s really close to the stampede grounds, Calgary Tower and all the amenities of downtown, then this is the perfect choice! We chose this hotel because I had an appointment at the Lifemark Sports Medicine Center and the hotel was less than 2 km away from there.

The hotel isn’t big, but it is really nice. Our check in experience was fantastic. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman. While we were checking in he offered us menus to several different restaurants that were close by and delivered for free. Thanks to him, we ended up having a fantastic meal delivered to our room from Singapore Sam’s. If you like Asian cuisine, I highly recommend ordering from Singapore Sam’s. Our room was lovely. It wasn’t overly big, but the perfect size for 2 people. It was very clean and visually appealing. We upgraded to a king bed with a 2 person whirlpool tub. The whirlpool tub was definitely worth the upgrade!!

Because of COVID restrictions the breakfast buffet was not available so we were offered a brown bag breakfast, which included a bottle of water, fruit and a pastry. We opted out of the brown bag breakfast and went to a restaurant instead. We went to Red’s Diner downtown, which was only 2.3 km away from the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!! They specialize in breakfast and WOW we were not disappointed!

We have absolutely no complaints with our stay. The location was great, the room was beautiful and our meals were fantastic!

It was nice to receive a discounted rate as i work in the hotel industry. I work in a family owned hotel so usually a lot of hotels do not give out a discount as we arent connected to a chain.

I brought my sister, and her friends to celebrate her 18th birthday and the agents were able to get us a room side by side so i was able to keep an eye on her.
Lovely updated room with lots of space. The gentleman who checked us in was a delight (wish i could remember his name, we checked in on Aug 14)
All round lovely staff, bagged breakfast was lovely! Great location!
Booked again for the September long weekend.
