Pleasant looking restaurant with large outdoor gallery. Very friendly and efficient service. We were disappointed that items on the menu were not regional as that is why people come to the Charlevoix area. The lamb was frozen from New Zealand and the duck was from the Eastern townships…Lac Brome… which is good but not from the area when there is a fantastic duck raising farm within 10 km of Bay St-Paul. We had the duck…a little tuff, served with half a backed sweet potato. Presentation was so so. The dish could have been so much better with a little creativity and next to no extra expense. Our desert, Chômeur pudding was served in a cute wooden baking dish but unfortunately they took a shortcut with the creamy sauce and used sweetened condensed milk (Eagle Brand) flavored with a little maple syrup. The cake part was delicious but I’m not a fan of the taste of sweetened condensed milk…the sauce could have been improved with a little extra effort.
For the price we paid, we expected so much more. As our B & B host said “ there was pre Covid quality and this is now post-Covid quality”. There is no excuse for serving mediocre food in a reputable restaurant in the Charlevoix area at top prices. Overall: disappointing.

The service was excellent from start to finish. The food was delicious. A rare find! We will definitely return.

Excellent service and great food and ambiance. Was there yesterday evening with my wife and 3 year old daughter and we were delighted.

We took the breakfast at La muse. The food was good, but for what we got in our plates and the sizes of it. Definitely not worth the money. Would have probably enjoyed the lunch or dinner service more.
