Stayed in the lovely town of St Thomas for the weekend of Aug 14,2020; we had planned on spending the daytime at the beach in Port Stanley. For dinner Friday night we decided to stay in St Thomas, and much to our surprise found a diamond of a place… Braxton’s Restaurant. Now, from the front not a lot of “curb appeal”; however, don’t judge a book by the cover. We were all blown away….the food was Amazing‼️ We had fish and chips -FYI 1 piece is enough. We had fish tacos, chicken fingers and fries, and grilled veggie wrap and sweet potato fries….now, you all maybe thinking, so not fancy food, right? Let me tell you this….so unbelievably well cooked, fresh, tasty, lots of it, and lovely waitress….wish I got her name. It was so good that Saturday night two friends arrived and we went back for dinner…for sure on my list again. Thanks for the fantastic food everyone‼️

Went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had the mesquite potato skins which were served with loads of cheese and steaming hot !
I had the beef nachos as my main .
Also loaded up with lots of cheese and toppings …..and layered throughout. Delicious!
My boyfriend had the Euro burger which he said was very good as well . We will be back !

I has the chicken carb sandwich for takeout. The portions were huge and it was very fresh and hot. I loved the fresh cut fries. It was delicious.

We had never been to St.Thomas and after checking some online reviews, decided to check out Braxtons. Well it was a great choice! For us, it was too hot to sit on the patio so we opted for indoors. The place was pretty empty but it’s pandemic times so its hard to say if that’s normal. We were greeted promptly and seated in a booth. The decor is a little dark, and not fancy, but the place is very clean.

Now lets talk about the burgers! I had the Belfast burger and my husband had the brisket burger. We cant say enough about how delicious these burgers were. This is a place that takes pride in their food. Everything is fresh. They smoke their brisket in house. Their turkey burger is gound in house from a local turkey farm. The fries are fresh cut.

I cant wait to go back and try some other things on the menu. But it will be hard to resisit that burger!

Chose to support local instead of McDonald’s. Braxtons did not disappoint! Food was amazing fresh and hot, beautiful hot chocolate sprinkled with candy cane, cozy atmosphere and the server was very attentive.
Foods: coconut shrimp curry power bowl, chicken tenders and fries, salmon with balsamic glaze, and a panzerroti.
Spinach and artichoke, was among the best I’ve ever had.
