I really want to give them a five, but I can’t recommend every cake they have. My wife and I have ordered four cakes from Buttermere: a mother’s day special, the Aquarium cake, the Mango Lava cake, and a Halfmoon Bay. The first three ranged from amazing to great, but the Halfmoon Bay looks far better than it tastes. The cake itself is fine, but the lychee and rose flavour is immensely subtle. It felt more like I paid 65 dollars for decoration. The macaroons were fine though. I’d definitely recommend going through the reviews to see which cakes seem to be getting the rave reviews before you buy.

The texture of their cakes are always on point, especially the sponge ones with the lava middle. Great selection of cakes and flavors. Always a great hit for special occasions!

I ordered a London fog 4 layer butter cream cake it blew my mind. I had ordered it through Locvl deliveries and I would definitely eat it again. The flavour wasn’t to over powering yet very moist and scrumptious. Thank you buttermere for going above and beyond on every cake you make.

No dine in due to covid-19, but the cakes looks amazing. Mostly take-out but they do delivery too. Bright interior with not too many decorations. Looking forward to spend an afternoon here after the pandemic.

I finally found this place. Staff were friendly and helpful. Takeaway only at the moment. Unfortunately, I was unable to choose the rolls that I want and was forced to purchase a 3-pieces random rolls in a box. Would be nice if I could purchase the stuff that I want instead of pre-packed box.
