This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had while baby shopping. I don’t normally shop at this store, and today I was reminded why. As I was looking for a new baby gate, I had asked for some assistance. The woman who came to help me could not answer a single question I asked. I ended up going on YouTube to answer my own questions about their products. I explained to her that I needed a gate for the top of the stairs because my daughter fell down them, she replied with a chuckle and “babies bounce”… What kind of response is that? It’s not funny and it’s certainly not a situation to joke about. On-top of that while I was checking out I was taking my time to look for my coupon and told the cashier she could help the next customer and I wouldn’t mind. Instead she goes over the announcement system and says ” back up to cash! Customer is STILL looking for her coupon”, as if I was being a huge inconvenience to her. Over all this store needs to work on customer service skills and product knowledge. DONT SHOP HERE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT. rant over…

This store has amazing selection, and so many great products for parents of young children. We registered here, and love that people could use the 20% off coupon (on most but not all items). Some of the staff are great and very helpful, others seem like they can’t be bothered. Online ordering during the pandemic was easy from the website, but when I went to do curbside pickup they were not helpful and didn’t seem very organized (I popped my trunk and she looked in my window and said “we don’t do that” and then put my item back by the door).

Worst experience ever with Scott, the store manager..
We drove 1hour to pick our order & upon our arrival we were told the store is closed.
Prior to that scene, we called 40 mins(6.20pm) before closing time & spoke to a staff who confirmed that we can come over even if it is a little bit beyond 7pm, but to be there before 7.30pm.. We reached there at 7.05 pm & was rudely attended by the store manager, who did not understand our concerns & especially that we drove 1hr to pick up our order.
I agree I reached there 5mins late but hey I called & was told I can come over..

Been here twice and enjoyed my experience. They have 90% of the brands I was interested in so I was happy to make my registry here. Special shoutout to Moe – we asked her for help to show us how to close the UppaBaby Minu because we struggled with it. She also couldn’t do it but then realized there was an attachment for the store getting in the way which we told her not to even worry about as long as it wasn’t difficult to close. As we were looking at other products she came with it closed to show us how small it was for travel purposes which I thought was so kind because we genuinely didn’t need her to remove the security attachment for us. Great location 5/5!

My husband and I had the most pleasant experience working with Brooke (pre-COVID). She helped us set up our registry and took us around the store to explain various products available. Her knowledge and patience was so very much appreciated. I’ve told everyone I know who is expecting to visit But But Baby Whitby and request Brooke for a consultation!
