We operated our small business in Niagara for almost 10 years. We brought are taxes always to CIS. My wife would add up herself many of the expenses and calculations to ease the work required by CIS. We recently moved away but felt that we should allow CIS to handle our taxes “one more time”. In short, things could have been done better. As a responsible business, if something is done wrong, you should do your best to make it right. We rushed mail our completed and signed taxes by April 24/2018. Our taxes were subsequently filed away. In JUNE, they were finally transmitted to the CRA to be processed. We received the assessment, and because of the late transmission, we were charged an additional $15.00 interest. We have e-mailed a copy of our assessment to CIS, and followed up with phone calls. The interest charged to us is a result of their mistake. We are now moving into September, and there does not seem to be any action that CIS is willing to do. Seems 12 years of patronage to this business means very little. Sad. Still waiting for the owners response? Will a husband and wife who had dealings with and gave business to CIS for 12 years be able to have an answer? Almost mid-October…no answer? Customer follow-up….received the interest amount finally Oct. 12. Returned to CIS. It was never much about the money, but more about the service. Considering the business is in handling peoples TAXES. For the record, we have not received a reply from CIS (OCT. 18 now). It is many weeks after the Labor day holidays.

Great place to have your taxes done! I also did my USA taxes there too and Carmen was so helpful! He does the USA tax returns! Their prices are great as well!!

Excellent. They always do a great job. They explain everything in layman’s terms so I can understand and they stand behind their work if there is a problem with the CRA.
