Gosh, I’ve been dealing with Car Medics for at least 10 years or more, and I guess that tells the story. Their staff are always knowledgeable, courteous and fun to talk to. I especially appreciate the complete reports (which include photographs of problem areas, tire wear, etc). The reports also track my maintenance needs and remind me when service checks and other maintenance is due.The owner, Phil, is one of the most genuine and honest service people I’ve encountered. He has helped me locate and buy my last two or three used cars: I tell him what I’m looking for, and he does the searching and comes up with a number of good cars from which to choose.

Car Medics is more expensive than many other auto service businesses, but I well remember the days when I was younger and had to try to do my own work or else look for the most inexpensive service I could find. Now that I’m older and not so able any more, I’m willing to pay for quality and for service I can trust, and Car Medics certainly provides me with that!

I have used Car Medics for various repairs on my vehicle, in the few months that I was in Kingston for work.

They are very good at asking questions, creating documentation, probing, diagnoses of issues and finally the repair; they actually will road test your vehicle and go in depth into the live data to narrow things down.

Their repair rate and labour rates are fair.

I cannot express how happy I am with their service by just five stars. They’re fast, affordable, helpful, and honest.

They do have a military discount as well if that’s a factor for you. Outstanding.

I want to say thank you to Phil for bailing me out of a pickle with my tire. I appreciate the candor and honest service and would recommend anyone in the Kingston area to bring their car to get serviced here.

Phil and his team at Car Medics are extremely accommodating and do great work! The front staff have always been very pleasant to deal with and Phil has gone above and beyond for me to make sure my car is always safe to drive.
