So this morning I called cards bakery as I have done so many times to order there sticky buns. I have not been there in a few years as we now live two hours away. I have sent 100s of people to this bakery over the years.
Today however showed me that not only is customer service dead but they baked it and sold it away. I started walking out of the store after paying and not getting what I ordered. The cashier told me to have a nice day and I responded it could have been better.
When either a manager or the owner decided to make a snarky comment towards me. Which I stopped and I told her that I drove two hours for these and she responded that I HAD NO REASON TO BE UPSET OVER STICKYBUNS.
so not only do I get the poorest service I have ever seen they proceed to tell me how I’m supposed to feel about it. I’m so glad they are the ones that have to go back and tell my 4 kids that sorry they our only sticky buns and no reason to get upset or mad. If I would have even attempted to act that way in any job I have ever had I would been fired on the spot.
See cards the best form of advertising is word of mouth we in the customer service industry know and understand this. Can you guess what I’m telling everyone about your bakery. I only wish I could give your company negative stars.
Edit. I called this morning and said two six packs of cinnamon buns the person who answered the phone clarified if I wanted them in biscuits or sticky buns. She then asked me for my name and number
Then I went there and I asked for my order exactly what I asked for she said no on the sheet it said two I said that’s not what I ordered and then she told me there is a third one over there which I did not respond to as I was turned around looking at a cookie for my son as a treat which I also bought. I then paid and she told me have a nice day and I gave my response. So please try again.
Since you where 15 feet away talking to two other employees. I’m glad that you jumped to conclusions decided to make a near nothing experience. Turned into such a negative experience with a response that is near priceless that shows me exactly the kind of person you are. So thank you for turning a place my family has been going to and enjoyed for over a decade. That is definitely the best customer service I can imagine.
