I feel SO fortunate that my family has the privilege of being patients at the CFFM. I can only say wonderful things about the doctors, nurses, students, and reception staff there. Our immediate and extended family have been patients at the centre for many years and only have positive experiences to share. Each and every time we have met with a doctor (whether it be our own, a student, or another doctor at the centre), I have always felt respected and cared for.

Our family doctor, Dr. Pefanis, welcomes any concern, listens intently and answers our questions without ever minimizing their importance. He takes time to get to know his patients and remembers little details about their lives. Leaving his office, I have always felt valued and heard. In all our appointments, in all these years, not once have I ever felt rushed. Dr. Pefanis respects patient decisions without passing judgment and time and again, he has gone above and beyond the required call of duty. On his own time, he has called our family to check in to ensure things are fine after treatment for an infection, a change in medication, or once he learned there was a hospital visit. His manner is always kind and genuine. It is clear that his heart is in his work. Thank you Dr. Pefanis for treating our family as if it were your own.

But sure it’s all throughout this amazing place of beautiful bedside manner, compassion and really down to earth, one on one chats that leave you optimistic! I can’t thank them enough. Please check out my review for the campus, that accidentally went to a different area of this intelligent place of care.

Charges you for parking, always see students or on call doctors, haven’t seen my doctor in over 2 years, wait times are a nightmare sometimes 2 hours plus and only one waiting or two. Doesn’t want to test for things or send to specialist. If you want a family doctor run away and avoid this office any way possible and if your one of the unluckily ones with a doctor here get out and find a new one this place is a money grabbing no care for patients at all

An incredible, clean and organized medical facility with amazing staff. Kudos to Dr. Froese and Dr. Kolbasnik for top notch health care and caring about their patients so deeply.

The only time I have to call for an appointment is during my lunch time. The Centre for Family Medicine closes before noon and opens after 1pm. I can’t even leave a message. This is a big operation, I don’t understand why lunch time coverage is not possible.

I have provided feedback to my doctor and talked to the office manager, but the practice remains in place. Unbelievable!
