Honestly great place, took care of my pup and he seemed pretty calm, which is incredible since he is such a scaredy cat! Thank you to the wonderful staff!

Moved to Chilliwack a few years ago, had a terrible experience at Sardis Vet so I transferred over to Cottonwood. At first I was really happy with the staff and how clean it was there, but as years have passed it seems to have gone downhill.

Really poor communication between the front and back staff. I’ve had angry phone calls from reception asking where I am to pick up my pet when I wasn’t even informed they were ready for pickup, I’ve asked for different food and medication on my order from one staff member and then when I go to pick up a different staff member is confused and has no idea what I’m talking about.
I asked for Dr. Mueller to be our pets primary doctor (before she left) and yet all my appointments were scheduled with different vets constantly.

Called for an emergency when my dog ingested something, the office was open but they said they couldn’t help me because there wasn’t even a vet in that day. What is the point of even being open then if there’s no doctor around?

The prices are quite high here compared to other clinics so it’s frustrating to see the quality go down so much. The vets do an good job with my fussy cat, but they really need to work on the communication between the front and back and respect for customers time.

**Unfortunately, I have to change my 5 stars to only 2 or 3 stars. While Dr. Maarhuis is still the best vet I’ve ever worked with, the office staff…. not so much. Where are those wonderful girls who knew my dog’s name, his history, and were helpful? These people are the first impression and the ones that’re there right now are NOT making a good one… not at all. Makes me sad…

‘Bedside manner’ is top notch. We love our dog like he’s a person. Dr. Maarhuis treated him and referred to him as such. That did it for me. The assistants were all kind & thoughtful, the offices were spotless, everything was great. I highly recommend Cottonwood Vet Clinic.

Dr Tim & Dr Lindsay both have cared for our darling Dane and two cats for years, with nothing but the very best care. The team at cottonwood vet are outstanding and we know our fur babies are always safe in their care. Highly recommend

Edited: after using this clinic for over 6 years I am dissappinted to say that staff is no longer accommodating. We spend a lot of money at this clinic, being that our pet is on regular medication. They are closed midday hours for lunch and weekly staff meetings. The vets keep moving onto other clinics. Staff turnover rate seems to be quite high. Will likely find a new vet.

Staff is very accommodating and understanding. Great clinic.
