I’ve been blessed to have been seen by Dr. Costain after an unfortunate motorcycle accident. I was hit by a deer and left with a break in my leg in two places creating knee complications. His expertise, compassion, and witty sense of humor has got me through this long drawn out time of healing. Receiving excellent attention to not only my broken leg but also a hip replacement surgery and most recently a knee replacement surgery. He has gone well beyond my expectations of an orthopedic surgeon and made several referrals to address medical issues that required attention to aid in my recovery. His office associate Sherry is very personable and very efficient in lining up the necessary pre-op seminars and ensuring questions I had were relayed to Dr. Costain. They make a great team. His visits at his clinics at the Sault Area hospital were always a pleasant experience and his nurses are always smiling and happy to assist him with his patients!
