They didn’t have the car I had reserved online and gave me another type of vehicle. Overall it’s a good place.

I wish I can provide a lower rate. My experience with Discount Car and Truck rentals are usually a breeze and a pleasure dealing with. This location, not so much. I Spoke to a Karim, I believe, it was the only card available to pick up. Now as every one is taking precautions, there was a occupancy limit of 3 people in the office at a time, which is completely fine. Now the current temperature was around close to 29 Celsius and inside was even hotter. Now this would have not been so unbearable if there is a logical reason for not having on A/C. the reasoning was, “The A/C was being too loud…too loud? Whatever, the agent after 40 minutes waiting in the hot oven, going in and out of the office to get air as well.

Now after waiting around 45 minutes to pick up a car, the agent asked if I wanted partial coverage or full coverage. I have rented many vehicles in my life and have never chosen full coverage and I have never regretted it..I asked for partial coverage. Partial coverage is $8 per day and full coverage is $25.. I wanted to save some money and considering, I am a pretty safe and cautious driver and a frequent renter at Discount, I thought the $8 coverage would be fine. I was mistaken? The agent then started to tell me that its best to get the full coverage? I begged to differ and said I only wanted the partial coverage. Agent then understood, at least I think he did. He then asked for my information and then asked for my broker? I have never been asked all these questions before. He then proceeded to call in for the partial coverage and proceeded to wait on the phone fro another 30 minutes..

As someone who is experienced with renting a vehicle to go on Road trips every Summer, I would recommend avoiding this LOCATION and going to ANY OTHER LOCATION. I guarantee you, you will not regret it. If you go to this location, be ware be warned,

Staff on site are customer oriented, reserved a truck but had to wait a little bit longer during pickup. Staff gave additional 100km for free as same day return appear to be impossible. Great customer experience here and everyone appears to be friendly and resourceful. Will rent again. Make sure you reserve truck before hand as they are always booked.
