Does anyone actually want to look at these on their way to work in the morning? Let’s decorate our community in a beautiful way, not with these grotesque and disturbing masked images. Calgary what are you thinking?..

Very disturbing photo. Sketchy area.

We found these murals very disturbing, some more than others. We were driving and came across one by a bridge and it really bothered my whole family. It has greatly disturbed me and it scared my kids, reminded them of a scary face that keeps popping up on YouTube called Momo or something like that! I then looked up why it was there and discovered it was part of a series throughout Calgary East Village. This type of art may appeal to some, but I do not believe it should be in public places where it can disturb people of all ages! I love art and am generally very open to different artistic talents and topics, however I also believe that things that could be of this delicate nature should be kept to a private gallery where people who enjoy this type of art can do so there and not have it be exposed to disturb the imaginations of possibly very young children!

I think the mood of them match the undertone of being under the bridge so perfectly. You can hear the water of the Bow rapids, with people and the noise of city life all encompassed or muffled underneath a bridge. Lovely.

I’ve seen the reviews here saying their ugly… like no??? they’re beautiful. just because you see something that challenges you and isn’t a landscape doesn’t mean it’s bad?? Erika Cornish I couldn’t care less that your baby kids got scared by this.
