Adults only. Nicely manicured park. Quite. Good views of the river

Kootenay River RV Park was an excellent place to stay while we were exploring the Cities and Towns around Castlegar. The staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and very hard working. They keep the park in pristine condition and the bathrooms were unbelievable clean. The view from our river side site was just delightful even with the smokey skys! Thank you very much for letting us stay at your beautiful piece of quiet heaven!

We stayed for 8 nights and loved it. Super clean, well maintained beautiful sites, spotless updated bathroom and shower, hardworking friendly helpful staff. I’ve seen a couple of reviews about the staff enforcing the rules that by the way are clearly stated on the website. As stated, this is a quiet, adult only RV park so don’t complain when your grandchildren can’t come visit for two days. Will definitely stay here again. Only negative is the WIFI did not work well.

Great riverfront “adult” oriented full service RV park. The grounds and facilities were impeccable. The woman running the place was helpful, friendly and on the ball. Spaces were a good size and the number of cable channels was impressive. Wifi worked fine. It’s a short drive to downtown Castlegar and about 40 minutes to Nelson. The mountain views from the grounds are impressive with some of it taken up by local industry. All-in-all a pretty good campground.

Absolutely beautiful, staff very friendly, very well kept park, directly on the river plenty of walking, good for pets, but should be noted it is adults only.
