I would give them 6 stars if I could. I’m not a big fan of take out but because everything is closed on this NYE so we thought we’d give them a try. To my surprise they cooked our steaks perfectly! (Yes I can be a bit picky with my streaks) The lobster and the shrimps were so juicy… my regret is that we didn’t order more! 😔 They let us choose our wine and figured we wouldn’t be able to open it in our hotel room which was super thoughtful. I experienced what true hospitality was and I’m really impressed. Here are my 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ordered 10 crispy chicken wings and stressed that we wanted them very well done. They arrived soggy. We returned the remaining 7 to the server who assured us a brand new order would be prepared and they would be well done. When she came back with the original 7 left over wings, refried, black, smelling and tasting burned, our server advised us that the cook refused to cook them any more. They were slightly more done but burned and still soggy. We were starving and had to leave because our car was about to be towed, so we ate them but expressed our disappointment to our server – twice. We were still charged for them. While we did not request that they be taken off the bill, Madisons should have done this on their own. We will never return and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We expected better from a restaurant the calibre of what we thought Madisons was.

I have ordered takeout twice. Delicious. Now I want to work through the menu. This was a great COVID discovery for me, sampling places on takeaway I had not tried before. Highly recommended.

Good mangattan burger. Mashed potatoes were ok.
