I always love the Keg. It didn’t fail….the dine out Vancouver menu was really good. I had great Caesar salad to start then a baked potato (with everything) lobster, and steak. Finally ending with Billy Minor pie. Soooo good. My favorite meal hands down.

Best place in town for steak and hands down favourite birthday restaurant. Thank you for continuing to be so great over all the years! Never a bad meal from here.

The Keg is such a well established steakhouse and for good reason. I’ve been to every Keg in the lower mainland through the years and never had a bad meal.

The food quality is the same throughout all their locations. I always order their bone in rib steak. It’s such a big piece of steak grilled to perfection each time. I can never finish it, but the left overs makes a good lunch the next day. Their tuna tartare and calamari are two of my favourite appetizers. I always order either one of them. Lastly the Billy Miner pie is a must have. Make sure you save room and share it between 2-3 people. It’s a nice ending to a meal.

Aside from their food, their service is always good too. The waiters are attentive and if they over cook your steak, they make you a new one right away. We have had our fair share of substandard food experiences before at the Keg, but once you reflect it to the server, they take it seriously and do everything to make it right. I’m thoroughly impressed by the keg over the years and they remain one of the go to restaurants for our family.

So sad.
Absolute downhill quality in the last couple of years. Their once signature prime rib and or steaks are no more. As goes with their quality cut and taste. I know I’m not the only one saddened by this.
