I was able to get the information online about the policies in regards to ordering.
The process was painless and the website was easy enough to navigate.
I was able to use my gift card and get my book and have 16 cents leftover
The website let me know that the book i needed was back ordered and would take a while but it actually came in very quick and the person that called me was friendly and informative.
I Received my book with contact less pick up and it is wonderful… this is the kind of experience I was hoping to have to have the first time I came here.
I am glad that I gave it a second chance and will be back in the future

So I didn’t know that I needed to order ahead.

I went with a friend because I have a gift card for here.
While trying to read the sign on the locked front door a person showed up quite suddenly and shocked me a little.
We were let in and I tried to make my way into the store thinking I was allowed to browse.
I was not.. I received no words from the employee instead I was shoo’d with a tsk tsk noise as I apparently wandered into an area that I wasn’t allowed.
I’m here for restrictions.. I wear my mask and sanitize often. But expect respect and words.
I understand the small space but was given no chance for explanation of anything about the rules or standards of this particular establishment

Seems like a shame that I felt so rushed out and not wanted. I’ll order online and wait patiently to stand outside and have them hand my book to me.
I don’t like leaving reviews like this but it made me sad.

Love this book store and am so glad it is in the neighbourhood. Very helpful staff and a great website.

Haven’t shopped here although I’m familiar with the location and neighborhood. I’m definitely going to make an effort to shop here now! Saskatoon needs more leaders in the business community like Turning the Tide, who take bold action during the pandemic to keep their clientele safe and do what’s right, not just profitable. Buy your books here, they deserve your support! 👍

Ordered some books online here for the first time and got them nicely. They have very open selections which other major bookstores might not offer. I will definitely order from here again soon. Hope my special orders aren’t an inconvenience for them during this time :)
