I dropped off my sister at the door, then went inside the parking and while she was shopping, I went to Kensington plaza to take a photo of Vanex ad. Came back, pick up my sister and left, only to realize that I’m fined $80 because apparently ALL passengers in a vehicle must remain on the property due to the request of the owner.
Sorry Urban Gate but I will never drop off anyone at your door. Bye bye

I struggle to give this a 2 star because the food is fair in taste and portion. However, the waitress for our table has a poor attitude while the rest of the waitresses were very nice. The price is also high for what one gets.

Based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll visit the restaurant again nor could I recommend it.

If the option been no star, that’s will be exactly what I rate this place. Meat in grocery store super old and smelly. Price super high. I bought meat for big party to make some Kebabs, meat was mixed with old one. I cooked properly, but still uncooked. All was go in the trash. Never buy anything from meat station.

By far the cleanest and nicest Persian store in metro Vancouver area. They are professional, very well stocked, and have bakery, meat shop, fruits, assorted bread, and deli departments. They used to have a restaurant that they let go of after renovations, and I think this was welcome. They still do takeouts but I don’t have experience with that. Kudos to the owner and staff. Urban Gate can easily be voted as the best neighborhood grocery/convenience store in metro Vancouver!

Honestly the only classy place made for Persian shopping in BC! In toronto there are many huge Persian stores but in Vancouver area they are all super cheaply made and designed. This place is like a small save on food. Very impressive. Thank you
