Whisk made a small cutting cake for our wedding, and it was both delicious and gorgeous. We asked Tanya to just run with the cake design, and she definitely did not disappoint. The cake fit our color scheme perfectly, and had gorgeous edible flowers to top it off.

We had an opportunity to visit Whisk Cake and sample some of their desserts in their retail store. Being able to sample their food helped to solidify our decision to go with them as our wedding vendor.

On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered on time and was a beautiful design. They also included a cake stand/platter at the last minute after we had a hard time finding one that we liked. The flavour/quality of the cake was absolutely outstanding, and we received many compliments from guests on the taste. We definitely feel that we made the right choice to go with them as our vendor.

Before the wedding however, communication with them was difficult. We called the shop, and when we were able to get through, were instructed to send an email with our questions. This was done 4 weeks in advance of our date. Two weeks before the wedding anxiety was high as we hadn’t received any answers to our questions. Ultimately, a family member visited the store on our behalf (as we live outside of Kelowna) and got all of our questions answered. We don’t feel that it should be so difficult to maintain a line of communication with your wedding vendor. In the end we are still very happy with our cake, and would still very much recommend them, but this made the weeks leading up to the wedding more stressful than they should have been and made for a bit of a frustrating experience.

Tanya is the goddess of sweets. Her carrot cake is 100% the best carrot cake you will ever eat. Amazing customer service. We are loving this place for treats and a java!

They did my wedding cake. It was beautiful and tasted SO GOOD. My only regret is that I ate too much food and was only able to eat one piece. Sadly it didn’t take too well overnight and we had to chuck it

Went for ice cream. We were not disappointed. Staff was extremely friendly. Small ice cream selection (8 flavours) which makes the flavour choice easier.. unless you see all the marvelous mini cakes and desserts, then you might switch your focus. Prices were fair. Hand sanitizer was available upon entry. Max 15 occupants at this time.
