Lots of variety and it’s perhaps one of the bigger Metro stores I’ve been to and they carry a lot of good deals, plus the staff are always really nice and friendly.

Just visited this location and there was a pileup at the door and a guy was cleaning the carts and there was no safe way around him and in to the store. The woman representing the store standing in the hall area, tells me to move on. I explained it was not safe to do so and that we needed to be 6 feet apart. I was also waiting for a customer coming out of the store, so with the carts, the exiting customer and me going by we would have been brushing shoulders. This isn’t 6 feet apart! I made my way in to the store and asked for the woman employee’s name who refused to give it, so clearly hiding something. I found my wife in one of the aisles and explained the confrontation with the employee in the front and my wife said, oh her; I’ve had issues with her before being rude. Enough said. This happened at approx 2pm on 11/30/2020

Canadian are typically polite and caring. Maybe this woman employee. likely was American…. NOT

I usually spend more time in line than actually shopping. Most times there’s only 2-3 cashes open, which results in long lines down the isles through covid. We bought lettuce and found out it was covered with little yellow bugs. I went yesterday, and bought orange juice that was on sale. I checked the expiration date and it was 5 days expired, still sitting on the shelf. This isn’t the quality I expect from a high priced grocery store.

A bit annoying that half the store has terrible cell service in the lower floor of this building. Meat department is a bit small and often it’s hard to find what I’m looking for in a good quality. The long store hours and fact that it very rarely seems busy makes it pretty accessible.

Clean and typically very well stocked location. The staff are kind and non-discriminatory, which is a very important aspect currently. While often a little pricey in comparison to the local competition, they are constantly increasing their stock of specialty items (ie lactose-free) which I love. Would definitely recommend.
