Was feeling the need to send a little something special to friends of ours. Between being a nurse and not being able to see family this Christmas we wanted them to know they are being thought about. Bloomex had some wonderful choices. We are sure our friends will be delighted! Thanks Bloomex for the ease of ordering and the many choices.

Well that was before they could not find a way to deliver flowers to a house. Unfortunately the house which does have an address that is in a city also has a post office box. Even though the house has an address they said sorry we can’t deliver to it.

You quite literally have one job. Just deliver the flowers on the day requested. That’s it. Instead, they didn’t come at all, and then once I complained an automatically generated email was sent out saying “oops, looks like we’re running late.” The office was closed by then, there was no point in the delivery, the special day was missed and yet the response was “you can’t get a refund once the delivery goes out.” We’ll see about that, but just absurd that I have to argue over this. Delivery to businesses by 5pm, period. If you don’t get it there in time just apologize profusely and refund. My goodness. Just an awful experience.

Great selection of baskets. I am particularly fond of the Make A Wish baskets as it is one of my favourite causes. I have ordered previously and the recipient was very pleased with the gift and the basket arrived as expected. It is also available across Canada, so it is very convenient. Thank you very much!

I wish I could give zero stars. This company is horrible and I would not recommend ordering from here. They don’t deliver on time, they have zero customer support and they do not send what is paid for— it is false advertising.

I understand delays happen but at no time does anyone ever reach out to communicate these delays. The customer has to chase the company for info. The first day the delivery was late, I sat on their live chat for 56 minutes waiting for an answer. Then their support rep ended the chat with no explanation or resolution after I waited that long. The next day it was 40+ minutes on chat with no update. The third day, I sat on the chat for 2 HOURS. The rep told me it was delivered but she would check and then no one ever came back to the chat. I had to follow up with the recipient, ruining the surprise, and it was in fact, not delivered.

They finally emailed back after multiple attempts and said there was a technical glitch and would send my recipient a “huge” upgrade for my troubles.

The box ended up arriving 7 days late.
1. The regular box said it included 8 chocolates.
2. I then paid an extra $15 for the upgraded “more impressive” box.
3. The box arrived with a total of 5 non-impressive grocery store chocolates. This did not even include what was suppose to be in the regular box let alone the $15 extra I paid for a “more impressive box” nor did it include the “huge upgrade” as promised for my trouble.

I sent a picture of this box and they said their records indicate everything was shipped and wouldn’t provide a refund for the extra $15. Ridiculous.

This is shameful way to treat customers, especially in this line of business. Thank you for turning a joyous occasion into a horrific amount of stress and for wasting hours and hours of my time trying to track down this delivery.

I used Bloomex Flowers and Gift Baskets in Burnaby, B.C. for the first time today. I was very impressed with them for a number of reasons. They offer same day delivery across Canada. Their floral arrangements are lovely and much better priced than most florists I have dealt with in the past (and have quite substantial discounts on many items). My husband and I are retired and living on pensions so we very seldom have the ability to send gifts of this sort. Now that we’ve discovered Bloomex, we will be able to do this much more often!
